Three Must Have Smoothies For Summer

 

Smoothies are a simple way to increase your daily servings of fruits and vegetables.  And by including a whole food concentrate such as AIM BarleyLife or CoCoa LeafGreens you know you’re getting the added nutrition your body craves.

Berry Green Smoothie

1 ripe banana
2 handfuls of fresh or frozen berries (strawberries, raspberries, blackberries)
1 cup of orange or apple juice
1 to 3 teaspoons of BarleyLife, BarleyLife Xtra, or LeafGreens

Combine all ingredients in a blender until frothy. Pour into a tall glass and enjoy!

 

Berry Smooth

2 cups fresh blueberries
1 cup fresh or frozen banana
1 cup fresh or frozen strawberries
4 cups tangerine or orange juice or pomegranate juice
2 teaspons of BarleyLife, BarleyLife Xtra, or LeafGreens

Blend until blended and enjoy!

 

Cherry CoCoa LeafGreens SmoothieProPeas-Info_Banner

8 oz. unsweetened almond milk

½ cups fresh or frozen cherries

1 tsp AIM CoCoa LeafGreens

1 scoop AIM ProPeas powder

2-3 ice cubes (optional)

Blend ingredients in a blender and serve. Yummy!

 

Tip:  Always make sure to wash berries well before using in your smoothie and you can freeze leftover bananas and berries to use later in smoothies.
